Sooooo, why not start now on the easy things that don't cost much and benefit us in other ways - pollution and health care and energy independence? As a longstanding environmentalist, I am, have always been, and will always be 100% in favor of doing easy things that improve health and the environment. Absolutely. I am against doing hard things that may turn out to be off target until we have sorted out our objectives and can identify the salient targets. And I'm against shrillness, mindlessness, and self-righteousness.
