How long will you let that cook? Sure does sound good. I usually don't do crock pot in the heat, but I might try that one. I have a pork roast in the freezer. Have broth, need the beans.

Yeah, your dreams and mine too!! With the exception of the lima beans, sounds like you're having a great dinner.<g> I have yet to decide what it is I'm making tonight. I was thinking of taking Ken's suggestion and grilling a bunch of hamburger patties and chicken breasts for this week. The kids last day of school is this Thursday. The really nice thing about them being this age is I can leave them some money and a shopping list. They'll go to the store, get everything on that list and if asked, they will even cook dinner to be ready when I get home. It was an experiment last year and it worked out quite well. They don't have to cook every night but as long as I'm working the hours I'm working and so is their father, the least they can do for free room and board is to cook twice a week.
