I put some water in the bottom of the cast iron pan to loosen all the bits then poured it in the crock pot with all the veggies and broth.

Pans must be deglazed with red wine for beef. Some in the pan to scrape up the num nums and some is drank to give us the strength to scrape those nummies out:)

Well, as it turns out, what I thought was a small pork roast in my freezer actually were two of those double thick pork chops. I love to marinate those all day in teriyaki, then do them on the grill. I do them on the upper rack and stick a meat thermometer in 'em when they start looking near done. They are delicious. Think I'll do that on the week end.
