Besides, Saddam was pretty secular. He was just a Muslim when it served him, like so many of our Christians here, especially Bush.

You totally missed the point.

What we had in the Iran/Iraq war was predominantly Shiite killing Shiite.

You people are absolutely confused about the Muslim religion. These people are Muslims first, in all cases.
