Unfortunately for you it's still a free country. People can still speak up for what they believe and point out false arguments when they see them.

Now I ask you is it an American sentiment to wish to deny someone their inalienable right to freedom of speech?

If you have a superior argument to make make it, don't try to get people to be quiet.

I'm not lonely. My life is full of loving people. And if it is a fool that is succeeding in pointing out the flaws in your thinking, what does it say about you?
