John McCain's suicide attempt and his resulting PTSD

You remember Ted Sampley? He was one of the main SwiftVet boosters! So, I'm SURE he's telling the truth NOW too!

I won't dispute what he has claimed but I have my doubts.

Was he tortured? He says so and I am inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. As far as the charges this guy is making, his source was other POWs and their only source of this sort of information is the guards. And the guards are going to tell them stuff to make sure the prisoners won't band together. If he was given better treatment because of his father, that would be enough to spark a lot of resentment, earned or not. If you ever read "The Gulag Archipelago", tiny little differences loom large in the minds of the prisoners. There has to be a reason why they are treated better, and the obvious choice is they are singing.

Fool.

There is extensive contemporaneous documentation of McCain's injuries received when he was tortured.

Real torture. Not just waterboarding (which isn't torture at all, by any reasonable definition).

You really do need some time off if you have any doubts that McCain wasn't tortured as a prisoner of war.

That charge has been leveled as well.
