In an abstract sense, watching them swiftboat their own should be a lot of fun. But, not matter how I feel about McCain, he doesn't deserve something like that. No one does. What the Republicans did was the equivalent of our arming of the mujahadeen in Afghanistan. Yeah, it was cheap and very effective. But that let the warlords loose with all that weaponry and they were just bright enough to use it. Afghanistan was plunged into a battling chaos so bad that the Taliban was seen as saviors and a stabilizing influence.
