I told old college friends years ago that I should be kidnapped and deprogrammed if I ever run for political office. And since this thread is just a microcosm of much of the slurs and taunting and distortions and five-year-old behavior that is the norm in Washington, I am amazed that anyone wants the job. But I am also amazed at all the people there and here who thrive on the slurs and taunting and distortions and five-year-old behavior. Is there no pride in acting like a grownup these days? Often not, from my observations. Yes, I am disgusted tonight.
