Well Michael, hindsight is 20/20. I'm sure a lot of liberals supported going into Afghanistan, but it took real leadership to go in, and even then there was second-guessing of war strategy, overestimation of the opposition's effectiveness, and concern over civilian casualties.

All of this, of course, pales in comparison to what's going on in Iraq, so the lessons learned in Afghanistan seem to fade.

It must be straw man day! I told you I was more worried about getting into a traffic accident than I was being attacked by terrorists. A completely logical and correct position to hold.

I'm also more worried about dying from a fall or an infection, both also MUCH more likely.
