Thanks for the tip. Costco had some really wonderful-looking green beans (haricots verts--skinny) that were literally inedible. Like little pieces of green hose. I will stay away from the meat. But they do have perfectly wonderful Polish sausages and hotdogs--famous brand--I forget--cheap--unhealthy--delicious--sold at the front--like $2.00 including Coke

the new york strips at costco are usually excellent.
Maybe they got bad batch. I look for the ones with the most marble.
