You're view of Carter must be that he was a great president because I used him as an example of what you get when you vote against someone instead of for someone. Nothing can change your opinion of Obama (the end), therefore any discussion (the means) will be based upon your end of supporting Obama. The idea that you're voting for Obama because you think Bush sucks and Obama isn't Bush is not a very good reason to vote for Obama since I'm positive Bush is not running for a third term. With McCain's views almost identical to Obama's, I don't see much of a reason to vote.
