I thought this Reuters article was one of the fairest comparisons of the differences between McCain and Obama that I've seen. Do you agree?

McCain's prominence in the republican party predates Bush's rise to power. Remember, he was the alternative to Bush in 2000 before Bush could have "done" anything to the republican party.
