I think Indonesia may benefit from the coming war in Iran should it replace the Saudi to provide oil to China. Maybe the country needs some military protection for 3-5yr buildup boom. Population problem is still #1 issue ?

Brazil and Indonesia: I lived over 4 years in Indonesia and have travlled extensively inside the country. Differences are: size, resources and culture. Do not hold your breath for Indoensia skyrocketing. I like Indonesia and it is the birth place of Experiment. Indonesia is a string of Islands. Brazil is a contiguos land mass. Indonesia has got limited resources. Indonesia, has a huge cultural problem. Lots of Moslems. Lots of different tribes in every island you go. Legacy of Suharto not wipped out the map. Bali is not Indonesia neither they consider themselves Indonesians. Parts of Indonesia that has resources resent the fact that they are taking for the Java people who dominate politics. Mainly Central Java dominates politics. Brail managed to be monobloc. Everyone says he is catholic. Has a single language. Has football that united the country. Indonesia hates the Chinese and kicked them out of the country causing a huge capital flight that even today they didn't recover. Indonesia has a population still a big birth rate. Brazil has no xenofoby. Indonesia mistrusts foreigners. Brazil has gone dramatically down on the birth rate. Although Poertuguese os not a good language to speak, Indonesia is worht off with one of the most silly lanagugaes oin the plannet earth.
