. A lose, lose situation.

I'm not so sure. I saw all three speeches tonight, and McCain's paled by comparison with Clinton's and Obama's in terms of ability to fire up party energy. In terms of substance it might be another story, but McCain's speech was not great by any measure.

The Fox pundits, even Barnes and Kondrake, thought McCain had better polish up his rhetorical skills.

>>> So Hillary wants to run as VP. Delicious. Wouldn't you like to overhear Michelle's reaction? :>)

Funniest remark of the day came from Dick Morris -- who proclaimed that there is no way in HELL Hillary is going to be the VP candidate. Why?

"Because it would be the equivalent of a menage a trois in the presidency".

And he is right on target with that. What does Bill do while Hill occupies the VP spot? (Well, besides diddling the hired help).

can you see him trying to control bill for the next four years. He may think about Hillary but along with Hillary comes Bill, that is a strong negative.

If Barack turns her down, he is in deep doo-doo with the Dem Women. A lose, lose situation.

It could get even worse for the Obama-nation people if McCain adds a woman as his VP running mate. The gov. of Alaska, the gov. of Conn,. and Kay Hutchison of Texas have all been mentioned.
