How many times in the last century has the VP candidate really affected the ballot?

Look how close the last two elections have been. It is almost certain that a different choice of VP candidate for either side in '00 or '04 could have changed the outcome of the election.

Putting Hillary on the ticket would create an unbeatable combo, IMO. But I don't think Obama will do it; he is just too much of a snob. He thinks he can do it on his own.

Don't know. But I think "this time is different". She has a lot a really loyal supporters in he pocket that might or might not support Obama.

MHO of course.

As much as i think hillary would be a stronger candidate than mccain, i believe that net net she will hurt obama more than she helps bringing all that clinton baggage to the ticket that adds to obamas own. Double the swiftboat opps for repubs. Hillary should run with McCain.(g) Now that would be interesting.
