Doubtful. For the last several years, more people have believed in UFOs than have given Dick Cheney a positive approval rating. It really hasn't mattered.

This is indicative of just how ignorant you are.

Cheney, of course, is a highly competent, highly ethical individual who has been dragged through the mud by the Left without any justification. The Left can do this, however, as they need no justification for personal destruction -- he's the enemy, so that is justification enough.

But back to your point, given the closeness of the 00 election, there is every likelihood that, had Bush chosen a less competent individual, the outcome might have been different. Cheney brought a ton of experience to the ticket.

I don't think Kerry could have had a better running mate than he did from my POV, but I'm not sure everyone would agree.
