I don't know..........I really don't know what it is that drives a very young girl/woman to not protect themselves from getting pregnant? I had friends that got pregnant at a very young age. Had to drop out of school or get married, or give their child up for adoption or horrors get an abortion........which has to be the hardest decision a grown woman can make let alone a woman/child that is 15 -16 - 17. I saw all of that going on around me and vowed to never let that happen to me. It is inspiring to see young women take control of their lives after their baby is born, but most of them can't do it without a lot of help from their family. You're very lucky she and her husband were mature enough to get it together, and that you are there to help.
