Another Bob Toll? These CEO's are arrogant to the point of incompetence. They must get some sort of "God complex" where they figure they can do no wrong. That's the only reason I can think of for their making business mistakes only a high school student would make, and most high school students know better.

Homebuilders buying back their stock at the top
Lehman's buying back stock when desperate for cash

Asinine mistakes. The companies deserve to fail.

Whenever a CEO makes a remark like "I will hurt the shorts", there are invariably deep and intractable problems with the company. Pretty much an auto-short and hold of opportunity (i.e, on short covering ramps).

Nice job Bernanke, yer precious Banksters using the Fed Balance sheet and throwing it right back in yer face to day trade their own shares.

Got moral hazard yet?
