Speaking of a VP making a difference, Lieberman was supposed to help Jewish vote in FL. He came close. This could have been a case of VP making the difference between winning and losing. Yeah, that was my point -- given the closeness of recent elections, I don't know how anyone could claim the VP doesn't matter. I think in many, even most, instances it clearly hasn't, but recently, these elections are too close for him to have made that statement IMO.
