I agree with you on that, Ed. McCain's proposal that they have 10 town meetings together startled me. Perhaps he thinks that he has nothing to lose, but the contrast between the two side by side will be stark, IMHO. I'm not sure that Obama should begin them on June 12, as McCain proposed. I think he needs a very restful vacation for at least a few weeks at this point. But I don't really see a downside for Obama on this. McCain proclaims his "experience," but he has made more factual gaffes than Obama has over the past few months.
