Cannot think of any other reasons right now but there might have been one more.

Yup at least one which is the thousands and thousands of years of evolution that created in each of us an urge to breed. This drive is directed by our hormones and is sometimes virtually impossible to stop when the chemistry between two young people is right. ......Unless you're conservative and then it's a little different.

Did you forget to mention the enormous emphasis in all media, in dress, in the culture, in advertising, on SEX?

Enough to whet the appetite for experiment in even the most shy and sheltered mid-teen.
