Why is it that we never find out the grades until AFTER the election?

We did find out Bush's and Kerry's grades before the election in 2004. You just didn't hear about it because it turned out that brilliant Mr. Kerry had grades and Air Force IQ tests lower than idiot Mr. Bush.

The only reason not to release grades is because they say something bad about the candidate either by grades, selective curricula...etc. There's probably more radical red flags they wouldn't like to have aired but that's all speculative so I'll shut up about that.
