Interesting timing is it not? The IL justice system didn't want to ruin their chance to have a "friend" in the WH.

>The verdict came the day after Obama claimed the Democratic party nomination for president. The Republican party immediately took note, issuing a statement calling Rezko Obama's "money man" and "long-time friend."<

>>"Rezko's family bought an adjacent lot for $625,000 at a profit to the same owners. Obama later paid $104,000 for a sliver of Rezko's lot to provide a privacy buffer."<<

The reporting of Obama buying a "sliver" of the adjacent lot, rather than calling it 1/6 of the lot which is what it was, is a distortion because Obama bought 1/6 of the lot for 1/6 of the $625,000 price paid for the whole lot.
