I should be in bed----we had stormy weather last night and today----lost a 150 foot tree( maybe about 100 foot) , fell across the run and not on my house-----tornadoes spotted in an around Washington, Maryland, Virginia.

The tree was ripped out of the ground with the roots totally esposed and the trunk splintered down to a slithering. I was in my office writing about Obama when the storm came in------I just kept on writing----tired of the basement. lol

Yesterday, I looked at that tree and suddenly had thoughts of it coming down and today its gone. Weird. The tree had beautiful leaves but the roots were almost nonexisent for a huge tree and the interior was as dry and brittle as could be.

Removal gets more complicated as I am not sure who is responsible for the removal as my neighbor says the tree is in the buffer zone owned by the homeowners association and that the run is controlled by two counties. So phone calls tomorrow---------

Appropriate I am posting this as we discuss the 451 page report. lol

I did read the story on Al Gore-------it all hinged around his Global Warming and Carbon Credits and then forming his business hui.

We as a nation sure have gotten taken in on this----would Gore blame the tornadoes on global warming or the earthquakes in China on global warming.

We should focus on those things we can do something about not on such nebulous ideas that we cannot prove.
