Ted M: ACII *might* get an order for 15,000 pairs of axle components.

"The successful completion of the prototype production cycle could lead to a full fledged production contract of 15,000 pairs of truck axle components per year for this new 2009 truck, with production beginning in the third quarter of the calendar year 2008"

This looks like another PPAP with no guarantee of getting a production order, IMO.

Just taking a wild stab at what the value of 15,000 pairs of axle components would be.
A rear axle for an Eaton truck can go for about $1,500 each, so their not cheap. A standard chevy pickup goes for about $225 each. Let's just say Americhip made $100 dollars off 15,000 trucks that would be 1.5 million dollars. I would think this is the least amount they would get. Who knows? I'm just wondering.
