So being accurate is a purpose in itself? And it's disrespectful to hide the truth in favor of civility? How charming. Let me see how many fat or ugly people I can find this afternoon to whom to be purposefully accurate...

Oh for heaven's sake--if the Bush admin had lied about something that had no bad consequences, then I wouldn't care. And that would be especially true if the lie wasn't repeated over and over again. But what they lied about did have bad consequences. Very bad consequences. And the ripples from those bad consequences will continue for decades to come.

Besides, you still haven't demonstrated it to be objectively accurate. You only believe it to be accurate. Claiming that a belief is a fact is not accurate.

Oh for heaven's sake. Again. Shall we play little games? Is it a "lie" to claim that a belief is a fact? If so, then by that standard certainly the Bush admin lied. And if they did lie, then what I said was accurate.
