For the last two nights NBC news has led off the evening broadcast with how much the airlines are cutting back. The airline CEO's keep telling everyone how bad it is but all we're getting is 10% cuts here and there. One of the legacy carriers are going to fail and my bet is AMR. Legacy costs, older aircraft and pensions are going to kill them. AMR has rallied the last week or so and even did ok today. If they open higher tomorrow, I'm going to buy puts instead of heading to Vegas this year. Not a lot but enough to make it interesting to watch them. Will post the trade
