Which is why I keep suggesting that about our only chance for a clean win in Iraq is to focus on the north, reign in the PKK and give guarantees that we would keep them under control. As it stands, sooner or later, Turkey and Iran are going to partition them. And apparently our policy is to hope it doesn't happen. Sort of like the "good girl" whose idea of birth control is prayer. Yeah, it could happen...
