'There is a free lunch, it's just subject to financing and counterparty risks.' ... would that serve as opposite -g- How do you objectively tell what credit is reasonable and what is excess, or is misused ... one man's excess being another man's bonus ... maybe if a reasonable level of contracts are being honoured and fulfilled, enough to keep up general confidence in business, then who's to say any of it is wrong ... well some of the dark derivative stuff is likely bad - it's a good evolutionary talent to fear what we do not understand What do people really need and use, this is the thing ... the other day i helped move a boat around on a tiny city lot, twenty-eight feet and weighed tons, probably burns twenty gallons an hour, this guy doesn't need it, hasn't had it out the last two years he says ... and from what i know of him, he's in debt bigtime
