In Puerto Vallarta a few years ago, tequila was quite literally cheaper than bottled water. I couldn't believe it.

Until the cactus shortage, LOL.

"The cure for $130 oil is $130 oil."

How about $200?

I agree wid yu to a certain extaint, except for your assumption, method, predicate and conclusions.

Here are dah factoids:

1. Price of fuel (petrol) is least case 1.119 pounds UK per litre

2. Conversion pounds to dollars is 1 lb = $1.9563

3. Conversion US to loonie = $1 US = $1.10195 Loon

Three dot therefore.: 1.119 X 1.9563 X 1.10195 = $2.23 Loon. per litre.

Cost here is $1.23 per liter, .: essence is 81.4% more expensive in UK than Canada.

Many UK prices are 13% higher than 1.119. You could see Petrol for $2.52 Loon in places.
