It was that Bin Laden's stature in the muslim world has never been greater (which is a given as it is inversely proportional to the stature of the US in the muslim world, which is at an all time low).

I think the US's stature in the Muslim world was likely lower in 2006. As for bin Laden, his stature was probably higher right after 9/11.
