I think what he should have done was to simply refuse to answer the questions. He should have said that it's nobody's business but mine, and I refuse to discuss my private life. And he should have stuck to that.

What he wanted to do, I believe, was to hide the facts from his wife. So he lied, hoping he'd get away with it.

I don't really remember, but was he convicted for lying or was there proof that he was lying?

I mean, technically, he may not have had sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky, .... in the biblical sense. Is there any proof he did?
