Al, I think it's obvious that you dislike Bush's policies, politics, AND his personal attributes.

I think this ABB crap is more to soothe you than me. I don't like the guy's cocky attitude, but his personal attributes are a far distant second to his policies. Iraq, fiscal management, secrecy, near total disregard for peace in the ME, taxation, prescription bill extension and much more...there's nothing about what this guy has done that one can be proud of.

ABB is an excuse for those of you who supported him...

Personally I think ABB is going to lead to the next Jimmy Carter getting elected, but that seems to be the direction most people are willing to take these days.

See what I mean?

Al

We still have several months, and Obama will be properly vetted before this is over.

I think there is certainly a risk he will be elected. And he will undoubtedly be worse for the country than Carter EVER was. But there is also a reasonable shot that his utter lack of qualifications for the job will become sufficiently clear to prevent his election, as well.

It is a 50/50 shot right now. I don't like the odds, but I remain hopeful. It is important to remember that Obama is enjoying the benefit of the spotlight now, and that will like dim over the coming months.
