I actually got chills when I read your post and tears in the eyes. We may joke as I did about what some of our Nation's founders would say about a person of color a candidate for president of the United States by saying... I never thought my slave would go that far. However, this is what it amounts to. It really speaks volumes for our country and how great it is that a person such as Obama can work his way to the top of the ladder. A person of color...to achieve so much. Hurrah for progress and hurrah for a society that permits these changes to occur. The American people should pat themselves on the back too. We all are the winners..
