The Greenies and our elected Representatives over the last 40 years have caused us to be in this fix. (1) From considerable personal experience, I know the environmentalists to be wacko in their views. They are single dimensional in their thinking. (2) That said, the energy issues we face today are a direct responsibility of political decision making and incompetent leadership at all government levels. The degree to which politicians will dodge making a tough decision is absolutely incredible. I have personally seen this many times. (3)Further, all of us voters deserve what we getting. By choosing not to act, we allowed those mentioned in paragraph two to remain in office. (4) IMV, it doesn't matter who gets into office. The environmental actions taken by these two candidates will range from horrible to terrible.
