Watson, what difference in temp will your meter show for a 30W/m^2 change in net radiation from a clear sky? Why can't you answer this? You are the one claiming that somehow your measurement assures you that you can distinguish this difference. Please tell us how.

Your prior comments regarding the temp change for one year due to heat capacity is nonsense for the question at hand. If you don't understand what nonsense it is, just redo your calculation using 10 years rather than 1 and see what physical nonsense you get.

Did you note the date of 1997 on that? There were some serious issues with satellite observations not resolved until well after that. I'm sure you are aware of this?
