Mas, > It's the aspect that has got NO attention at all in all this Nehalem uber alles garbage propaganda that's being spread by guys like you, wbmw and Doug.

Believe me, thanks to you it's gotten way more attention than it deserves.

But hey, maybe you're right and Nehalem will end up to be the suck. Cause you know, I should explore the possibility that you're never wrong ...

Re: It's the aspect that has got NO attention at all in all this Nehalem uber alles garbage propaganda that's being spread by guys like you, wbmw and Doug. You don't mind if I try and provide some balance here do you?

There is time for balance, and a time for a different topic of conversation altogether. In the end is it important to endlessly debate who is "right" on the topic of whether Nehalem will be a couple percent slower in a miniscule number of benchmarks compared to Penryn based on the predicted cache latency of Nehalem?

Is AMD "saved" if Nehalem system framerates are 1.8% slower clock-for-clock than Penryn on F.E.A.R., but show an average 8% gain in gaming benchmarks and 30+% average performance gain in server benchmarks?

Is it important to debate for days, on an investment board, how many microseconds an AMD or Intel CPU will exceed its TDP on a thermal virus torture test app that may or may not be created in the future?

Endlessly debating trivial details adds little value to this investment board in my opinion.
