I still like the idea of having each plant store their own waste. The plants have to be secure anyway, sited in a geologically safe place, etc. Why not? Why shlep the crap in from the coasts to Nevada across all of America?

And what will be done with the waste? New nuclear plants require some waste disposal. If politics can stop Yucca Mtn they will stop everything else too.
