If I had any interest in how long it takes to cool an isolated column of air I would have clearly asked that. I don't have any interest in that because it is not a relevant question.

Lets return to the relevant question. What is the difference in temp as reported by your $60 meter when aimed at a clear, dry, sky, if you could test two times: 1) with "normal" atmosphere, and 2) with 30W/m^2 more radiation loss to space, i.e. the claimed blocking effect of CO2 removed?

How many times have I asked Watson the Weasel to answer this, and Watson the Weasel has ducked the question? Try to be a man here Watson not a Weasel. You are the one who thought your $60 meter pointed at the sky told you something, specifically that CO2 couldn't be affecting anything, so please fill in the details as to why your meter can assure you of this.
