Here is a great one from Ted back then: I don't think that is correct....I am not an accountant but depreciation is not an expense but rather its a tool or formula that participates in determining how much taxes are to be paid by a company each year and for calculating taxes on capital gains. Depreciation results in less tax and not more and therefore is beneficia Message 13283979 I am going to have to notify the FASB that depreciation is "not an expense" and furthermore that it is good. I think they'll be glad to get that news.
