Only those that think they are still owed something. The rest have moved on and made good lives for themselves, and good neighbors for the rest of us.

The whine factor in that post embodies the eternal victim attitude that hobbles the younger generation of minority Americans. Instead the message to ALL American children should be -- "it's all up to you...you can be whatever you want to be as long as you work hard, choose your friends wisely, keep a positive attitude and take personal responsility for both failures & successes."

No one alive today can change history, therefore it should never be used to instill resentment and negative images in the minds of impressionable youth. Constantly rehashing the economic realities of the pre-19thC American South is a useless exercise.

Some of my ancestors were slaves in America. I'm guessing about 1/16, but who knows.

The Italians kept my ancestors in slavery longer and I don't cry about that. Hell the germans and Russians did also, and I don't whine about that

BTW I like the way your liberal kneejerk defense of Michelle ranting at "whitey" even tho it was on a satirical humor site. Reminds me of how you used to defend Jeremiah Wright until he embarrassed "The One, The Lightworker" too much.

I suppose that would be true if you did not desire change, did not desire improvement in your life, did not desire to look to the future, did not believe in the "audacity of hope" and were generally a whiny individual who can think of no other excuse for your personal failures.

It's time to get over it and move forward, don't you think?

I have kept no slaves and I suppose you never did either.

My ancestors came from Sicily and worked like dogs to make their way here.

If you want to give people permanent crutches so that your lib friends can continue to subjugate them in a philosophical sense, then keep it up.

Those doing the ranting need to get over it and move on with life.

Time to end the culture of resentment.

kennyboy: Big Brown Falls Short
Da'Tara wins Belmont Stakes. Big Brown, above, is unable to break 30-year drought for a Triple Crown winner. (Reuters)

Big Brown won the Kentucky Derby from the 20th Position. It's a omen for Obama who will win the nomination and the Presidency.
