I have zippo faith in either side to actually come up with a coherent energy policy. If it happens, it will likely come of necessity. I only think that things are so out of hand and getting worse in the economy that the blame on Bush will just cast a huge shadow on McCain. Pelosi is a certified loon and just as destructive in her own ways as GW and his short stroke war that turned into a severe case of Middle East herpes. I think it has to get much worse before the public begins demanding accountability. I think there's a good chance that will entail violence. Right now we at a major bitching level but not much else. When truckers snarl 1600 P ave then things might get done. Last time the Vets tried that they got shot. If you buy a scooter or bike be careful. My friend had one and used to ride along the stopped traffic. One day a construction worker saw him coming up fast in his side mirror and opened the truck passenger door. He was able to slip by between the door and guard rail but he aged 20 years that day! The current congress and president are a perfect storm of ineptitude as far as energy is concerned.

i am with you profile....i am not such a hard core republican though as i get older the core is getting a bit more hardened...... i would take some pleasure in witnessing the dems total control, outlining and promoting wonderful fix it policies, and delivering on basically nothing - all the while spinning things in such a way that exonerates everyone under the liberal flag..... i admit this is a chicken way to look at it but what do we have to look forward to?? grease up the bike chains i will join you.... best joe
