As an investor in oil and natural gas, I find the current levels of both incredible, and yet it's hard to see much reason for significant declines. I don't know how many tens of millions of vehicles there are in the United States that are getting less than 20 mpg to carry a single passenger. It would take 20 years and huge investment to convert to nuclear energy and battery-powered cars, and almost nothing is being done in that direction.
