Notice who made the claim about the French being excited about Obama------ "According to Samuel Solvit, president of France's support committee for Barack Obama-----" Who is Samuel Solvit. Is this one of Obama's campaign committees with a propaganda statement? "the French"------is simply a blanket political statement to make it seem that all French believe such---the implication being that France supports--- You are right about Kerry and the perception given that 'the French' supported him.
