Wrong. Only Crist, Rice and Lindsay Graham are rumored gay. McCain could pick Lieberman or one of the southern governors. They are not gay. Neither is Mitt Romney.

As I've said before though, not many people actually support McCain. He is at best a compromise candidate for those who haven't yet joined the overwhelming consensus in this country, that rightwing policies are catastrophic for our country, especially the big three the rightwing loves; endless war in Iraq and other unnecessary places with massive unpaid for defense spending, tax cuts for the rich and investment class, and deregulation of precisely those industries which most need to be regulated for the public good.

One more thing McCain has going for him, he is not a crooked traitor like Bush - yet anyway. But he needs to quit talking about endless war in Iraq and tax cuts for the rich. Those are two terrible ideas. He also needs to embrace green green energy and quit kowtowing to big oil, coal and nuclear.

Considering that as many as 33% of Republicans are gay, AS may not be far off. Even a few grandpas have that proclivity...sickos...

It doesn't matter who McCain picks and nobody really cares, it won't make up for his elderly geriatric backward tired non-charismatic lack of energy, his bankruptcy of ideas and his wrongheaded support for 95% of Bush's most wrong and corrupt policies which everyone but idiots, fascists and crooks want changed.

McCain has literally been wrong 95% of his vote in the past eight years. Think about that staggering failure. Who cares if he was right 5% of the time. Obama was right almost 100% of the time.
