He needed them to appear more threatening than they were so that he could push through his dictatorial proposals. That is why, when he was warned that Bin Laden was determined to attack the U.S. in August of 2001, he went on vacation.

Seven years ago everyone -- surely, everyone on this thread, but everyone in the country -- acknowledged that AQ was a huge threat to America. Today, the same people are saying AQ poses little or no threat.

Dude, calm down. You're confused. You were the one who thought AQ was big threat. You were the one that screamed the sky is falling back in 2003. Many of us didn't agree with you.......but of course, you knew better.
