That number is global, I think, and it just says there is
a huge bubble in CDS and other derivative instruments. -g-

What scares me most is the equity portion of derivatives ...
Portfolio insurance of 1987 multiplied by 1000. Now equal
to interest rates swaps. This is La La Land....

True, speculation is in part driving commodities higher,
but it's still nothing compared to speculation in equities
and interest rates!!! Also, commodity derivatives have
been traditionally a suppression mechanism. Thus we have
shortages.
