"He can't write his own material."

I think he does write his own material. Obama's written two best selling books and is working on a third. Prove he doesn't.

Besides the fact he is brilliant

Lots of people are brilliant.

True but he's more than just brilliant.

he has gone from a community organizer to an US senator..in what? Ten years? A definite indication of his brilliance.

Oh, bullshit. Carole Mosely Braun did it, too. Was SHE brilliant? ROTFLAMO. You are so gullible.

Before she was 43? Did she write two books before she reached her early 40s? Besides, Obama is many things; not just a senator.

In fact, he has become a presidential nominee in half the time it took McCain.

He's a great public speaker. That's it. He can't write his own material. He can't make it up on the fly. But he can read it from a 'prompter in excellent form. Shepard Smith is great at it, too.

Not true.....he's written a number of his speeches.......for an example, he wrote the speech he gave on racial relations in this country and Jeremiah Wright.

At a time when people running for president need to be well off.......he comes from a poor family.....and yet has been able to raise more than any other candidate running for office.

Again, this qualifies the man to hold the highest office in the land? A great speaker raises lots of money. No surprise there.

And the first black president of Harvard Law Review and he graduated JD magna cum laude. He's taught Constitutional Law, worked for a law firm, was a founding member of Public Allies, a community organizer, a state legislator......the list goes on and on.

He has upended one of the strongest dynasties in Dem history.

Right. Clinton. Impeached. Need I say more?

No. You're too stupid.

He's written two books that were very well received well before he became a household name and made him millions.

Great public speaker, big following, sure his books sell.

But what has he DONE to qualify him for the office?

His whole life "reeks" of success.

He has captured the imagination of a nation and the world that very badly needs some evidence that there is still hope.

Great public speaker. (You starting to get the idea? That's all he has).

It has a lot more to do than with public speaking.......that's what has you worried.

But what has he actually done?

Why don't you admit you're jealous!
