I'm not a GW alarmist, and I think you are right about carbon sequestration. Seems like a dead end.

But cap and trade WAS very effective with 'acid rain'. Can that success translate into some global system? Maybe.

Well, you're welcome to your own opinions about scientific matters. But if this is how you live your life, you're going to have some humorous conversations the next time you visit your cardiologist. Undoubtedly he/she goes to conferences (aka "junkets"), and might suggest that you follow the consensus recommendations of the times. For example, that a diet high in cholesterol isn't good for your arteries.

"Sorry doc, I know that you're just telling me eating a lot of bacon is bad for me because you go to these fancy "scientific conferences" which are nothing more than a chance for you to cavort with other liberals and killjoys who are just there to forward a political agenda. As for me cutting back on the grease, well, I don't believe in eugenics either, thank you very much!"
