Sr K Let's set the record straight. According to the article that referred to Rezko and Obama Rezko was Obama's finance committee chairman. Unless the English language has been changed---being Obama's finance committee chairman means just that---it means precisely what it says. I wrote because I wanted to know if the writer of the article was accurate in this---------in a political campaign there is one official Finance Committee Chairman. Was Rezko the official Finance Committee Chairman??? "One of Rezko's well paid government contacts has been Senator Obama. Rezko began cultivating Obama early in the Senator's career, was one of his first donors and has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Obama's campaigns. . Rezko was responsible for as much as a seventh of Obama's total contributions in Obama's state Senate campaign. He was Obama's finance committee chairman. Rezko influenced friends to donate to Obama and he bought property at full price which he turned around and sold to Obama at well below market price" Now your statement is as follows: Rezko did not have "an official title in the Senate Campaign" and he may not have had any "title in the Senate Campaign"./i> Given that you are an Obama supporter, please give official references for what the official position for Rezko in Obama's State Senate Campaign was -------what is the truth about Rezko---------was he or was he not the Finance Committee Chairman for Obama's State Senate Campaign? If you can't answer that---------then Obama needs to answer. mj
